Combining modern aethetics with the important values that Craft traditions possess this is an eye-catching and functional accent chair where the materials and the craftsmanship tell a story. Inspired by the minimal constructions of metal chairs, this chair tries to unite the pre-industrial values and materials with minimalistic modern design. Tweaking the structural capabilities of wood to reach a minimal and light construction. The joints have a strong visual and structural interaction. By using only local materials and local handcraft it is an all-British chair. Handcrafted in the Lake-District with local Elm wood from the Duddon Valley and with a handwoven fabric from rare breed British sheep.
